Q: What is your deposit and payment schedule policy?
A: Depending on which property you are booking we require an advance deposit of either $550.00 or $1050.00 to guarantee the reservation at time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. For our private homes, we require an upfront deposit
of 50%, with the remaining balance due 60 days prior to check in.
Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: A service fee of $300 will be charged for cancellations. If the cancellation is received prior to 60 days of your scheduled check-in date, a refund of the deposit minus the $300 shall be returned. Cancellations made 60 days or less in advance of the scheduled
date will receive a refund if the accommodation is re-rented by another party for all the same dates and at the same rate, and pro-rata refunds for partial replacement reservations will be provided. If we cannot rent the unit then no refund will be returned
for cancellations made within 60 days of the scheduled stay. There are no refunds for early check-outs.
Q: How can I pay for a reservation?
A: We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We will also accept personal checks in US funds.
Q: What is the tax rate in the state of Hawaii?
A: The accommodation tax rate in Hawaii is 14.42%.
Q: Is there a minimum night stay requirement?
A: Yes. There is a minimum night stay of four nights. From December 15th to January 4th this increases to a 12 night minimum stay.
Q: Are there any additional fees?
A: Yes. There is a cleaning fee, a reservations fee, and a non-refundable damage waiver. All fees will be clearly outlined in the rental quote prior to you booking your reservation.
Q: What is your check-in and check-out policies?
A: Check-in is at 3:00pm and checkout is at 11:00am. For our private homes or Ho'olei Townhomes, it is a 4:00pm check-in and a 10:00am checkout. An early check-in is dependent on whether the residence is occupied the night before, and if the housekeeper
has time to fully clean the residence before your arrival.
If the unit is available, we do offer late checkouts for a fee of a half days rate plus tax. We advise our guests to do this in advance of their arrival date.
Q: Where do I check-in and how do I obtain the keys?
A: You will be emailed detailed arrival instructions a few days prior to your check-in date. You will be going directly to the residence and the arrival instructions will include directions to the property as well as the door code to access the residence.
Q: Is housekeeping service provided with the residence?
A: There is no daily housekeeping service. If you desire housekeeping services during your stay, they are available for a fee. Please call ahead to pre-schedule desired days and times.
Q: Are there cleaning supplies in the residence?
A: We supply a starter set of supplies. It is the guest’s responsibility should you require additional items.
Q: What is your pet policy?
A: We unfortunately do not allow pets at any of our properties.
Q: What is your smoking policy?
A: Smoking is not allowed in any of our residences as well as on the patio or lanai. If smoking is detected in your unit upon departure an additional $450 cleaning fee will be applied.
Q: Are there beach chairs and towels in the residence?
A: Yes. All residences have beach chairs and beach towels for guest use. Other beach items such as coolers, umbrellas, and beach toys are not a required item in the residence.
Q: Are there facilities for washing clothes?
A: Yes. All our residences are equipped with washers and dryers, as well as an iron and ironing board.
Q: Are there hair dryers in the residence?
A: Yes. Each bathroom has a hair dryer.
Q: What cable package does the residence have?
A: All of the residences have basic cable.
Q: Does my residence have wifi?
A: Yes. All our residences have complimentary wifi.
