For the latest travel requirements and official status updates, we encourage all travelers to visit the State of Hawaii's COVID-19 travel resource page. Here you will find the latest information and links you need to know before travel to Hawaii. Please be aware, rules can vary by island. 

CANCELLATION & REBOOKING POLICY (Effective January 1, 2021)

A deposit is collected at the time of booking and final payment is due 45 days prior to check in. Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the scheduled arrival date will receive a 50% refund for payments received. Cancellations made less than 14 days in advance of the scheduled arrival will only receive a refund if the accommodation is re-rented by another party for all the same dates and at the same rate, and pro-rata refunds for partial replacement reservations will be provided. If we cannot rent the unit then no refund will be returned for cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled stay. There are no refunds for early check-outs.

 

However, in the event that the mandatory COVID-19 quarantine and travel restrictions to the State of Hawaii are extended throughout your scheduled stay, we will give you the choice to change your dates for a later time.  We ask that you contact us within 12 months of your cancellation to secure new dates and any payments received will be applied as a credit towards your new booking.

 

Please note: If your reservation was booked through Airbnb or another third-party channel partner, you will need to refer to the cancellation policy noted on their platform for the listing.

GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ENSURE A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT

The world is changing, and we are changing with it. Here at CB Island Vacations we have taken the time to revamp our practices to ensure a clean and safe environment for all of our guests and staff. We have:

  • Updated our cleaning checklists, implementing dual disinfecting procedures especially for high-touch surfaces.
  • We use EPA registered disinfectants to treat our properties with.
  • We have added a 2nd disinfecting treatment using an electrostatic sprayer* once the cleaner is finished with their work.
  • Our final walkthrough inspection will also include sanitation of all door knobs, handles, remotes, and switches.
  • All staff and cleaners are required to wear masks and gloves, while practicing social distancing.

*Note: electrostatic sprayers bind sanitization molecules to surfaces, making the product attach and last longer. In some instances this service may not be available at all locations.

This pandemic will forever change the travel and tourism industry and guests now have a completely new set of needs. CB Island Vacations is working closely with our platform partners to ensure our homes are ready to meet those needs. Each home is being reviewed and updated individually to reflect new pricing and marketing strategies.
