CANCELLATION & REBOOKING POLICY

Coldwell Banker Island Vacations understands that this is a unique and trying time for many. Our Reservations Team is happy to assist any guests impacted by COVID-19 to reschedule their stays for another time. Additionally, we have adapted a new, temporary cancellation policy for future reservations, allowing for more flexibility without any fees. We look forward to welcoming our guests back and hope to be able to soon!

STATE AND LOCAL COMPLIANCE

Our on-island staff are closely monitoring the State Emergency Proclamation, as well as our individual County guidelines. We are working to ensure each home is in compliance. We will continue to periodically update our owners with the latest information.

PROVIDE WEEKLY HOME INSPECTIONS

We provide weekly checks on our homes to ensure they are safe and secure. Homeowners are informed of issues promptly. We practice safety protocols at each unit.

MARKETING AND STRATEGIC PLANNING

This pandemic will forever change the travel and tourism industry and guests now have a completely new set of needs. CB Island Vacations is working closely with our platform partners to ensure our homes are ready to meet those needs. Each home is being reviewed and updated individually to reflect new pricing and marketing strategies.

UPDATING OUR GUIDELINES

In accordance with the CDC and our hosting platform partners, we are updating our housekeeping standards, check in/ check out procedures and guest relations guidelines.

GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND TO ENSURE A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT

The world is changing, and we are changing with it. Here at CB Island Vacations we have taken the time to revamp our practices to ensure a clean and safe environment for all of our guests and staff. We have:

  • Updated our cleaning checklists, implementing dual disinfecting procedures especially for high-touch surfaces.
  • We use EPA registered disinfectants to treat our properties with.
  • We have added a 2nd disinfecting treatment using an electrostatic sprayer* once the cleaner is finished with their work.
  • Our final walkthrough inspection will also include sanitation of all door knobs, handles, remotes, and switches.
  • All staff and cleaners are required to wear masks and gloves, while practicing social distancing.

*Note: electrostatic sprayers bind sanitization molecules to surfaces, making the product attach and last longer. In some instances this service may not be available at all locations.
