Maui Welcomes You

Despite the challenges we've faced, Maui remains open. We understand the concern regarding travel during this time and encourage you to reach out to our team if you have questions regarding your upcoming reservation. We acknowledge there is a delicate balance to consider regarding the current situation and as a locally-owned business, we respectfully ask for your continued support of our on-island staff of reservations, guest relations, and operations teams who remain dedicated to, and dependent on, accommodating guests.

Community Involvement

The recent fires on Maui have not only damaged properties but have deeply affected our close-knit community. Our hearts go out to all of the residents, business owners, and families who have been affected by the recent events. The loss in Lahaina is devastating, but our aloha spirit, community resilience, and love for the 'aina are stronger than ever.

At Coldwell Banker Island Vacations, we've recognized the urgency of this situation and have taken immediate action to extend our hands in support. Here are some key actions we have taken:

Immediate Outreach

Our team has dedicated countless hours on the ground assisting in recovery efforts. We have reached out directly to over 30 individuals who were displaced, ensuring that they are not alone in their time of need. We've made substantial donations, including money, linen, baby equipment, and water.

Providing Shelter

As of now, we have had the privilege of housing 7 families who have lost their homes due to the fires. Additionally, we have successfully facilitated 19 other relocations for those who have been displaced.

Owner Support

We have been overwhelmed with the spirit of aloha, as 60 condo owners have offered to assist. Whether it’s through extremely discounted rates or completely complimentary stays, the generosity has been heartwarming.

Property Availability

Over 60 properties have been made available by owners as emergency housing. These units have been listed with the Hawai’i Fire Relief Housing Program and are also available through the Maui Hotel & Lodging Association, ensuring that those seeking a place can easily find one.
