MAUI - Things to Do



Viewing spectacular sunrises and sunsets from Haleakala summit is a “not to be missed” activity in Maui. Designated as a National Park in 1961 Haleakala meaning “House of the Sun”.



Vehicles entering the summit between 3 am and 7 am require advance reservations. The one day $1.50 sunrise reservation can be made up to 60 days in advance. Please note the park entrance fee is separate and payable on the day of the visit.

Ulua Beach

Ulua Beach is one of the beaches within the Wailea Resort area on Maui's south shore. The sandy beach is located between two rocky points in front of Wailea Elua Village condos.

White Rock (Palauea) Beach

Located off Makena Road in South Maui this lovely, wide, uncrowded and lesser-known beach offers excellent snorkeling and scuba diving.

Charley Young Beach

This sheltered 3-mile park at the end north end of Kamaole I Beach in Kihei is where you can dig your toes into abundant soft sand and enjoy protection from the wind.

Makena Beach State Park (Big Beach)

This iconic, stunning beach located on the southwest shores of Maui is considered one of the best beaches on the island. One of the island’s largest beaches with 1.5 miles of golden sand stretching as wide as 100 feet in places.
