Perfect place !

Stayed for 12 days and had the most wonderful time. The apartment is clean, and well furnished. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on!! We really enjoyed our “ sundowners” and bbq suppers in the communal area while taking the opportunity to chat to other vacationers . The resort is very clean and quiet. We enjoyed our afternoon swims in the saltwater pool , watching the spinner dolphins playing in the ocean . We would have no hesitation in returning to Casa De Emdeko should we return to Hawaii. Great Place!!

We stayed at the condo for 2 lovely weeks. The condo had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully equipped. We were a 20 minute walk away (5 minutes by car) from the town centre which made for a nice early morning walk to get the day started. The condo was very quiet that allowed for a great nights' sleep which complemented the comfortable king- sized bed. The balcony, which had a slight view of the ocean, was a real treat that had a nice table for meals, outdoor furniture for relaxing and an outside lounge bed that my wife and I fought over to read a book. There were 2 pools, one saltwater and one chlorinated, both of which we took advantage for our regular swims. There is a nice BBQ area and Cabana. I could go on but suffice it to say, we would highly recommend it would use it again if we head back to Kona in the future.

Highly Recommended

We had an enjoyable stay here for 3 weeks late January to early February 2024. This unit had everything we were looking for at a very quiet location set back from Alii Drive. You could hear the waves crashing from the condo. It’s close enough to the restaurants and activities of Kailua Kona (5-minute drive, 20-minute walk), but far enough removed from the hustle and bustle.The unit is very clean and well-equipped. The kitchen has everything you need. Snorkel gear, beach umbrella and chairs were nice to have access to. The king-size bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, and the new sofa bed in the living room is comfortable for children or short term visitors.There’s a nicely furnished lanai with ocean - and humpback whale views!The grounds are beautifully landscaped with two pools. The raised sandy lounge area adjacent to the salt water pool is outstanding for whale watching – no expensive whale watching cruise required! Very friendly neighbours, residents and visitors at the BBQ facility and at morning coffee in the common patio area.We highly recommend this unit.

An Outstanding Stay in Hawaii

We had a fabulous stay in mid-January at Casa De Emdeko in Kailua-Kona.It’s in a great location, conveniently close to Kona but not in the noisy and busy central part of town. The property is a quiet, clean and well maintained, fully gated complex. The property has all the amenities we needed and more - 2 pools, cabana, tables, grills and a clean beach area overlooking the scenic rocky shore.We stayed in Unit A308. It was a beautiful unit – clean, modern and tastefully furnished. Kitchen was modern and fully equipped.The bed was so comfortable, we wanted to take it home with us!The lanai is private and has a lovely view over the beautifully landscaped grounds.The unit includes some handy items for the beach including snorkeling gear, beach chairs and umbrellas. We absolutely loved the place and will definitely come back when we return to Hawaii.

Holiday in Paradise

We enjoyed our stay in this pleasant, cozy condo so much that we didn't want to leave! We were happily surprised by the extremely comfortable king-size bed and the cushy sofa and armchair in the living room. Everything in the unit worked perfectly and the view from the lanai is a real treat. The condo is well supplied with towels and other essentials, and it has plenty of enjoyable common spaces where we met a variety of friendly people. The salt-water pool overlooking the ocean is a real bonus. We also really appreciated the location, as the building is set back from the main road but an easy 20-minute walk into town, where there are many boutiques, eateries, and bars. Sitting on the lanai on our first morning there, enjoying a cup of tea and the ocean view, I felt that we had landed in paradise, as confirmed when I saw a whale leap out of the ocean. If you want to go somewhere absolutely beautiful and have a relaxing, comfortable place to stay when you're not touring around, this is the perfect spot!
