Important Information for Guests:
The private pool and water slide are not fenced, and the pool is not heated. A gate provides direct beach access but is not locked. While children are welcome, the property is not childproof. Adult supervision is required at all times. Furnishings and décor may be updated periodically; however, sleeping capacity, seating, and overall functionality will remain the same or be enhanced.

Best Family Vacation

What an amazing place. We recently stayed here for a family vacation The house is beautiful with amazing living space both indoors and outdoors. The home is obviously well taken care of. The pool is absolutely stunning and the water slide was a major hit for all members of the family. Perhaps the most magical thing were the views of waves whales and post-card worthy sunsets. Spoiler alert: the outdoor sofa at the north end of the balcony is the perfect place to relax while listening to the waves crash in. Highly recommend.

Amazing paradise getaway
I loved every second of my stay at Hale Kaheka! Property is wonderful amenities are everything I needed and more! One of the best things that we enjoyed about this stay was the water slide all kids enjoyed it and even the adults let their inner child out and had so much fun!!! Great view at sunset !

Amazing Property in the heart of Kona
Wow - what a treat. The view is amazing, pool and hot tub perfect and the accomodations super comfortable. We loved grilling out by the pool and watching the sunset during our stay. The rental process was also very smooth and easy and the agents were very helpful !

Hidden gem on the Big Island

We can’t say enough great things about our vacation and stay at Big Island Hale Kaheka. Our arrival brought breathtaking views of the ocean which were exactly like the photos (maybe better)! The property is enormous and well maintained and has a nice mix of outdoor shaded seating and sun areas. We would have liked sun chairs that fully reclined but the accommodations at the infinity edged pool overlooking the ocean were otherwise impeccable. Heading into the main house was equally impressive and beautifully maintained. This was the best stocked vacation rental I’ve EVER seen. We cooked every dinner at the house since it was so well provisioned and a pleasure to cook and watch our own private sunset each night. The main bedroom and bathroom were wonderful and the foldout sofas were both adequate for our 4 teenagers. It was nice to have 3 full bathrooms for the 6 of us and we never felt like we had to wait for bathrooms. The only minor issue we had was one of the gates did not work and could be pushed open from the street which made it feel a little less secure. Nonetheless, we will be back to this little slice of heaven and are already planning our next adventure since we ran out of time!

Amazing Big Island Vacation Home
What a spectacular home! We spent an amazing 10 days there and were sad to leave. It was even better than the photos showed, which, in our experience, isn't always the case. It was also a terrific location - 25 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from a great grocery store, 5 minutes to great surfing and a black sand beach, and 15 minutes from Kona and everything the town has to offer.
The home had a great Hawaiian style with beautiful modern touches, and a fully-stocked kitchen that made it super easy to enjoy sunset dinners on the Lanai. The best part, though, was the pool, overlooking the ocean. Our kids went on the water slide (no joke) hundreds of time and we supervised from the hot tub. With it being ocean front, we laughed watching our kids have fun and at the same time watched humpback whales and dolphins play in the ocean a few hundred feet off shore.
The few issues that arose were dealt with professionally and efficiently by the management staff. We will definitely be back in the future.

Second Time Stay

This is our favorite vacation rental. We've stayed in many, and this property and location can't be beat. We've rented this place a few times and while the view, pool and slide are our favorite, not having enough actual beds is a downside...wish we still had access to the bedrooms (at least one of them) in the Ohana unit. As a family of 5, having some sleep on pull-out sofa beds is not comfortable, especially when paying a premium.

Can't Beat The Views!

My husband and I stayed here for 18 nights in February and had an overall wonderful time. The pool and the deck outside the main house are they key attractions. We saw lots of whales, spinner dolphins, colorful fish and even a turtle. The property was clean and has lots of amenities but there is one thing that is pretty misleading I think others should know about before booking. It says it has air conditioning in the main house and that's a bit of a stretch. There's a portable AC unit next to the bed but it's extremely loud so not practical to run at night. It was February so it wasn't too muggy so we slept with the sliding doors open. You can't lock the screen doors so that's a bit uncomfortable. The property is gated but if someone wanted to get in, they could. I think there needs to be a solve for locking the doors if you need to leave them open for airflow and better representation of what the AC conditions really are. If it were really hot, it would have been an entirely different experience due to lack of AC. With that said, we extended while we were there so it wasn't a major issue for us. There were some maintenance issues but the management team responded quickly and the issues were resolved in a timely manner.

Best Balcony/Backyard in Kona!!!

I can't say enough good things about this home. From the minute the gate opens and you pull in the driveway it's stunning and just keeps getting better. So incredibly private! You are right on the water. The main house sleeps a couple perfectly. My husband and I were here for our honeymoon. We had a blast on the pool slide like we were kids. The house is very well equipped too. Beach chairs came in handy every day! We will be back one day. You are very close to the town in Kona, if you have a car that's ideal because its a few miles down. Very clean property.

Our Happy Place

We have rented many vacation homes over the years, and this property, by far, is our favorite! We have 3 elementary school-age kids and this pool/slide is EVERYTHING. We were outside all day/every day. Like an oasis behind the gates. Truly private, immaculate tropical landscaping, birds singing, unforgettable views (right on the water!), waves crashing as you fell asleep and woke each day. We saw whales breaching, right from the pool (even after paying $$$ for a whale watching tour which resulted in zero whale sightings). Saw dolphins, daily. The house sold right before we were set to travel, during a pandemic, so we were nervous about the transition to new management under new ownership. Thankfully, CBIS Vacations made everything smooth sailing. Gina was very responsive and made great recommendations on thing to do/places to eat in the area. We rang in the new year here, bidding adieu to a crap-tastic year, ushering in a new one with hope. The energy of this place brought us so much peace and calm. An aside; disappointed the new owners have eliminated the two bedrooms in the guest house. Makes it challenging for a family with only one bedroom, now, and a few hid-a-beds, while paying a premium. Despite all that, we love it so much, we booked it for the following year, staying twice as long!

This property is more beautiful in person than the pictures show. We didn’t want to leave. Kristi was very attentive and gave us great recommendations on beaches, activities, etc.

Amazing view, luxurious stay and close to all amenities.

Me and my wife stayed there for our honeymoon. View from the house cannot be described in words!! Very relaxing and soothing. The house is located in a perfect spot close to all sorts of restaurants, groceries and beaches. The place was fairly cleaned and maintained carefully, however we saw some roaches and bugs. The person to contact was also very helpful in answering our queries. Would definitely recommend others to stay there.
So happy to hear you and your wife enjoyed this amazing home. The views are indescribable and hearing the waves crash is so relaxing. The house is sprayed for bugs quarterly, but that is one of the perks of Hawaii life, making friends with the bugs. We hope your honeymoon was filled with many memories.
