Big Island Waikoloa Fairways B-214

This is a fantastic unit. It has been recently renovated with new flooring, tile, and some appliances. (The refrigerator looked as though it had never been used before.) The condo was spotlessly clean and well maintained in all areas. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, a coffee maker and grinder, and a few spices, and it was easy for us to prepare meals in the unit. The king bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable, which we greatly appreciated. Unit B-214 is just a few short steps to the pool, which is beautifully maintained and very quiet. Several owners gather around the pool in the afternoon and make an effort to greet guests and welcome them to the area. We enjoyed heading to the pool every day to read and bask in the sun. Guests can walk about five minutes to a larger community pool, but we preferred the quiet pool and hot tub reserved for Waikoloa Fairways. We often had the entire pool to ourselves. The condo adjoins the golf course and has a great view of the greens. You’ll catch some great sunsets from the lanai. Most residents of the Waikoloa Fairways complex are retired and this is a wonderfully quiet area, which we appreciated. We heard birdsong throughout the day but very little noise from the golf course or neighboring units. The lanai is fully screened, essentially making it an outdoor room. Even though the screens dull some of the landscaping colors, we were never plagued by insects – not even at night when the lights were on. We have stayed in many other Hawaiian AirB&Bs and loved spending time on the lanai during the day, but we had to migrate inside at night because the gnats and other insects became unbearable. In this unit, we could linger on the lanai long after sunset. he owners have prepared a fabulous guide of Big Island sights, hikes, beaches, restaurants, etc. This was our fourth time to Waikoloa Village and we can\'t wait to return next winter!

The Big Island has so much to offer and you can really have it all at your fingertips while staying at this amazing condo! Amenities galore-beautifully updated, comfortable-and set in a quiet area with breathtaking views. Very close to groceries and restaurants, activities and gorgeous natural surroundings. Plenty of room for the entire family and access to a community center and pool area.

I gave this condo a 5 star review when we stayed here in Jan/Feb 2024. We stayed here again in Jan/Feb 2025. Actions speak louder than words!

This was a fantastic spot to stay on the Big Island! First, the condo was clean and updated. Very comfortable and had all the things we needed. The lanai was a wonderful place for my morning coffee and my late night glass of wine. Beds were super comfortable - which is important with a bad back or neck! We cooked meals in and ate out - both were convenient! Grocery store is 5 min away and restaurants are too!Second, it is perfectly, centrally located. There are so many things to see and adventures on the Big Island and we were able to get everywhere - north to hikes and farmers markets, south to amazing coffee, west to the beaches, and east to the volcanos. I can’t wait to get back to Hawaii - and this place will be the first place I check out to stay again!

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years and this unit definitely tops the list of favorites! It was the cleanest ever, and beautifully decorated with high-quality furnishings including comfortable mattresses for a great night sleep! The kitchen was also stocked with quality cookware and dishes. After spending the first half of our trip in resorts it was great to have time in this spacious condo. The unit location was also convenient for activities all around the island. The owners provided a detailed guide to the big island which was so helpful in planning activities. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Condo was everything we could ask for. Comfortable, updated and centrally located for easy getaways across the island. Thanks for the all the useful travel planning guides and beach equipment you left us. The condo was close enough (10 minutes) to the big resorts for dinners, beaches and shopping but at one-third the price. Will definitely be coming back here.
