Grand Champions 68! Beautiful golf and ocean views.
As you enter you will be greeted by the charm of this condo! Open and inviting! Floor to ceiling sliding glass doors lead to your private lanai. Take in the tropical setting overlooking the golf course and ocean views while sipping your morning coffee or favorite beverage.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything the home chef will need to whip up a quick bite or a full meal. Family and friends can gather at the dining table with seating for four.
Relax in this great living area after a fun-filled day on Maui! Complete with flat screen TV to enjoy your favorite movie, sofa sleeper for additional sleeping, ceiling fan, and window AC.
Drift off to sleep in this cozy king bed for a perfect night's rest. The primary bedroom offers a flat screen TV and window AC to keep cool. The ensuite bath is complete with a shower and beautiful vanity.
There is a second full bath with a tub/shower combo. Washer and dryer in the unit allow for lighter packing.
The Grand Champions have lush beautiful landscaping, and amenities include 2 pools, Jacuzzi, BBQ, and Security. This central Wailea location makes it favorable as you can walk to tennis, Shops at Wailea, casual to fine restaurants, World's Top Beaches, and Five Star Hotels.
While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or decor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.
Notice: Grand Champions has scheduled for the sloped roof of each building to be replaced. Estimated completion date is December 2024. Phase 2 Construction Dates: April 4th, 2024 to December 12th, 2024. The pools are estimated to be closed for repair: South Pool April 1st - 3rd 2025, North Pool: April 4th - 8th 2025

Amazing Stay!

Any time i don't have to drive while on vacation, I am happy. We walked everywhere from this condo. It had everything we needed, including a perfect location.

Great place, but safety issue with sliding balcony door!

Great unit with fabulous views! The interior is a bit dated but very comfortable, quiet and a well stocked kitchen. The only issue we had was with the lock on the sliding door to the balcony. The locking mechanism is very loose and easily engages automatically when closing the door. We ended up locking ourselves out the first evening with our cell phones inside the unit. Luckily the downstairs neighbor was outside so we could give him the code to the front door and come and unlock the sliding door from the inside. We reported this to property management but they basically told us this they wouldn't fix it because that's how all the units are! Definitely a security issue and we were lucky it wasn't too late at night and a neighbor was around to help us. We ended having to use some painters tape to keep the lock from dropping down and self-locking.

Grand Champions Unit 68
Great location for any stay on the south side and beautiful ocean, island, and golf course views. CB Islands Vacation staff was excellent - from ensuring a smooth check-in, being attentive to our needs during our stay, and facilitating adjustments to our stay. Already planning to book another rental with CB Islands. As for renting the same unit, I am not sure I would if I needed more than one bed. Fold away sofa beds are never expected to be very comfortable but the one in this unit is well past its use by date. Sleeping on the sofa itself or on the floor presented a better option. Regardless, the rental was a good value and even better when booked directly through CB’s website than through a third party site.

Grand Champions 68 Honest Review

The condo is wonderful. Great view, fantastic location, spacious. Wall hanging are artful and reflective of the Island of Maui. Couch is significantly dated and basically just worn out. The AC units (one in the living room and the other in the bed room, did a good job of keeping the place cooled down. Much better than the other Grand Champions unit I have rented in the past. But it still could be better.
Below are a few suggestions though. The blinds very much need to be completely replaced as the windows cannot be closed and occupants can have no privacy in the evening if they so desire. It looks getto when they're closed. The lock to the sliding door on the deck is in need of repair. I went out to do the laundry and closed the slider behind my self to keep the place cooled down and the lock latched on it's own. I was alone in the apartment, and luckily one of the sliding windows was open for be to get back in. Otherwise, I would have been in big trouble.
Bird are nesting in a alcove above the patio (Lanai) and are crapping all over the furniture and deck. We had to clean it daily to use the deck.
I would rent this unit again as the views towards the water are very pleasing.
This is my honest appraisal of this unit.

Wine and Sunsets

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Grand Champions. Unit 68 is tastefully furnished and equipped. The kitchen cabinets are a bit outdated and worn but functional. Fantastic sunsets and evening walks along the cart paths. Birds Eye view of the golfers approach shots to the #2 green. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location.

Great golf course and ocean view
We have stayed at the Grand Champions many, many times and love this property. The location is conveniently close to shops, restaurants and beaches. The condo was overlooking the golf course with a partial view of the ocean. It was very spacious, and quiet, but is in need of a few updates. The kitchen was well equipped, but beach lovers be aware that there is no beach umbrella or cooler - we had to rent those. Overall it was clean, with the exception of the carpets which were very stained. There was some problems with the internet connection. When watching Netflix movies would often freeze, and it was also challenging operating the TV.

we were concerned prior to our trip after reading several reviews , however, it appeared that the carpets had been recently cleaned & the unit was spotless when we arrived.
The tiling in the kitchen countertop & the shower need to be upgraded.

We were very satisfied. We have been staying at the Grand Champions on all of our visits to Maui in the last 20 years. We visit the island at least every couple of years. The condos are very accommodating and lovely decorated. We enjoy the food and just relaxing and playing golf. We would not stay anywhere but at the Grand Champions.

Serene Wailea
Our condo was in a perfect spot for us. We love to golf and truly enjoyed being on the fairway of the Blue Course Wailea. We’ve stayed in just about every resort area on the Island and Wailea is the winner. Condo was perfect in size and location but does need some upgrades and attention to the carpet. We’ll definitely be back. Aloha

Used the condo as my home base while in Hawaii on other business. Condo was clean and spacious. Master suite with large shower was just what I needed after a long day. Slept very well, unit was quiet. Kitchen was useful. Had coffee and I utilized the refrigerator.

Amazing spot for a Maui vacation

My husband and I loved this rental and wish we had more time at it. It was a perfect location for us with great walkability to the shops at Wailea and about a 15/20 minute walk to the Ulua beach or a 5 minute drive if even. We enjoyed the views from the patio and watching the golfers. Would definitely recommend and would love to return sometime in the future!

Grand Champions is nicely situated to be walking distance from Wailea Gateway Center (including the Monkeypod restaurant —one of our favorites) and the Shops of Wailea (more great restaurants and the Island Gourmet market for essentials like sunscreen and poke). It’s a quick drive to several great launch sites for whale watching excursions and walking distance to the beach.
Within the Grand Champions, this condo is perfectly located next to the quiet pool, the lanai overlooking the second hole of the golf course with a partial view of the ocean, and fairly close to the entrance of the complex so you’re not having to walk all over the complex to start walking other places.
This was perfect for a couple like us, looking for a quiet place to have breakfast on the lanai (the kitchen was well-appointed with all the items I needed to make breakfasts most mornings) with a beautiful view and somewhere within walking distance to restaurants so we could have ALL the mai tais and then walk home safely. The ticked all the boxes for us.

Great Stay

Comfortable unit with nice view. The layout worked well as a gathering spot for our family of 12 staying in other units. Kitchen and baths are functional but look a bit tired and could use update. Rental company was responsive and friendly. Overall, this was a wonderful property and we had a memorable stay!

Enjoyed our time completely. Property extremely clean. Great view. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything needed. Kitchen could use some updates as cabinets are showing wear. Lamar table should be replaced to match chairs or different set altogether. None of these negatives took away from the overall experience. Management company very accommodating in helping us. Very profitable.

Comfortable and well located with great views!
We played a lot of golf and there are great courses close. Had a couple of minor maintenance issues that were quickly resolved. Two bathrooms and one bedroom was perfect for us.
