Perrfect Waimea week long stay

This 1 BR, 2 bath, for 3 people, was Perfect for a Waimea week long stay ! Walking distance to amazing snorkeling, and shops, including a gourmet market! Short drive to several additional snorkeling spots, PLUS Keihe for shopping and boat ramp/snorkel 1/2 Day trip. Lastly, LOVED the bidet! Excellent addition!

Maui vacation

We had a great time in Maui Grand Champions 74 is a great place to stay. Location is great, view is amazing. Open floor plan and has an overall great feel. My complaint and I wouldn't lower my rating over it is the AC unit turns on and off all night long. And the window coverings need to be replaced especially in the bedroom. There is a light outside the window and shines right in the room. Get some blackout in bedroom and new shades at Lanai. That being said I would stay here again, and we enjoyed our stay!

The location can’t be beat!
The property was as described. It is an older complex and as such a bit dated, with some minor wear issues. The sliding glass door to the lanai was very stiff and was a bigger concern. The living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable to sit on. All of that said, loved the keyless entry, air conditioning worked great, view from lanai was spectacular, kitchen and bathrooms were functional and had everything one would need. The unit is spacious and generally comfortable. Proximity to beaches, restaurants, shopping and walking is second to none from our perspective on Maui.

Golf trip
A very nice experience for the golf trip that a group of us had planned. Excellent location. Sliding glass door for entry to Lanai was a little sticky to open and close, took a while to figure out TV operation, actually had to call Spectrum at one point other than that enjoyable stay!

Comfortable stay in a prime location

We have stayed at several different condos at this property and they have all been great—that is why we keep coming back. The property is maintained very well with great attention to detail. The pools and hot tubs are great for lounging. However the no splash and no horseplay rules were not being enforced. Many children and inconsiderate parents were allowing their children to ignore these rules. The property does not have fitness center. Lots of restaurants are in walking distance. It is a shirt drive to Makena state beach. The carpet in this u it had recently been updated which was nice. The bathrooms were very dated and the sliding shower door in the master bath was not sliding. The kitchen was also very dated with the cabinets needing some repair and maybe replacement. The cookware was nice and in good conditions and the knives were sharp. We had everything that was need to cook and grill an amazing surf and turf dinner. The u it has two window air conditioners which were more than adequate. The unit is positioned so that there is a very nice breeze that flows through the unit. The parking space is located right by a speed bump which made parking our large rental car a challenge. The layout of the condo was very comfortable and had a very home like feeling. This was the first unit that we stayed at this property that did not have a beach umbrella.

A peaceful getaway

I loved the view from this condo! The unit was clean and well equipped although I didn’t do any cooking! This area is perfect. Shops and restaurants nearby. Love Matteo’s - ask for Mike or Kiana! I have stayed in Grand Champions a number of times. I would stay in this condo again. The managers are very helpful if needed.

Little slice of heaven

Condo was in person as exactly as described! Perfect location in Wailea and can’t beat the view off the lanai. Had all the amenities we’d need (washer/dryer, coffee maker, pots and pans, beach chairs, etc.). Great size for a couple or a couple of friends with the pull out sofa couch. Would absolutely stay again.

We loved the apt, very clean , close to the beach ! With a 1 year old , fully equipped kitchen it’s a must ! Enjoyed mornings on the patio , ocean view , just like pics ! Have to watch the stars at night also , so quite and peaceful .

Island Paradise

Large unit, well equipped w/washer and dryer. The unit was very clean, felt like home and sat on the 2nd hole of Wailea Blue Course (got a par on that hole!). Close to Wailea Shops and Kihei downtown which is like a spread out Lahaina with many shops and restaurants - even had a decent Mexican restaurant with great Margarita's (Fred's). Foodland was close so that you can purchase all your essentials. This place has eveything you need and would HIGHLY recommend this place. My wife and I look forward to many more stays at Grand Champions 74.

Respite in Paradise

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation at Grand Champions 74. The condo is in a great location with a lanai that let us watch the golfers in the morning and enjoy the sunsets in the evening. The management cold not have been more accommodating and solved our one issue immediately. We will definitely return.

Very satisfied. Enjoyed the welcome basket of goodies when we arrived - never received anything like this before. Only thing missing was a broom for us to sweep the entrance and deck. Screen on the sliding glass doors to the deck really needs new rollers - very hard to open.
