Perfect place to stay

We were so pleased with our unit! It was clean and had great amenities for a comfortable stay. Turtles were always on the sea wall right outside of our back porch. The beach accessories (chairs, cooler and towels) were great to have access to. The sunset views were stunning and we loved being so close to the water.

Peace and Quiet with a view

This is our 3rd trip to Kahana Reef and 1st time staying with Coldwell Banker managed properties. Kahana Reef is our home away from home. The property is always clean and well kept. Pool is always clean and quiet. The unit we stayed in this year was the best. Clean, comfortable, quiet, great view. We had one little minor issue with the shower drain and they came over right away and took care of it. Thank you for making out annual trip great. See you next year.

Perfect for Us!

Second time staying in the Kahana Reef complex. This unit was super clean, well equipped kitchen, all appliances worked perfectly. Beach gear saved us a week of rental costs. Oceanfront quiet complex right in between all our favorite beaches in West Maui.

Great spot for whale watching and turtle watching!

A great spot to explore West Maui, watch the whales, and watch the turtles on the sea wall! The condo is well furnished, and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking meals and dining on the lanai to look for whales. A short drive to Lahaina or Kapalua. We checked out snorkelling nearby, but love going to Black Rock and other spots too. As other reviewers have mentioned, the patio door sometimes got stuck or was hard to close. Appreciated the gift basket, clear documents for house rules and expectations, and the beach items (chairs, towels, etc.). Would stay again!

Great stay!

The rental was perfect for two people. Very clean and right on the ocean. The only negatives I have about it was the back sling door was “really” difficult to open and close, and there wasn’t a single pot/pan to cook with. There were several frying pans, but no pots.

Great location right on the water
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It's right on the water with access to a beach. It can't get any better than this.
Even though its an old property, this unit has been refurbished with new appliances. Exterior doors (which are old) and locks are slightly difficult to use but it's a minor inconvenience.
Unit was stocked with basic essentials needed for cooking which was useful as we did some cooking.
It has parking right in front of the unit which is great.
There are grocery shops and several restaurants/coffee shops within a couple of miles which is very convenient.
Will definitely recommend this property for friends and family.

Was a special stay for us a friend of the family owned a unit here. Last time I was here was 1979, sadly the beach is gone only seawall, but there is sand nearby

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed the condo & location a lot! We saw sea turtles our front on the rocks & 3 reef sharks at night (don’t swim when the neighbor is cutting their fish). The unit was spacious & the views were amazing! We were staying during a very hot week on the island & ended up sleeping in the living room since it was the only area with a portable AC unit. The sliding door needs to be serviced as it is very hard to open/close. Overall the condo was a great value & home base while staying at maui.

Clean, updated unit with awesome views

We loved the oceanfront views here, and you are steps away from the water, as the pictures indicate. We saw so many turtles grazing on the rocks! The unit itself is very clean, the furniture was in great condition and seemed pretty new, kitchen was well stocked with silverware/cookware, etc. The location was very convenient, and just a very short drive away from the great Napili and Kapalua beaches. Also, a short drive to Lahaina from here.
The management company was also very professional. An agent came over and greeted us shortly upon our arrival and dropped off a gift bag, and another agent called me later to check if everything was going smoothly.
I would rent this unit again.

Excellent Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Kahana Reef 120 and will absolutely be coming back year after year! It is in a great location with wonderful amenities. Everything was clean, updated, and what we hoped and were looking for in West Maui. Within 10 minutes either direction, there are plenty of beaches, restaurants, and shopping options. You can tell the owners really care for this unit and want to provide everything you'd need for your vacation. The property management company did a great job of making sure our stay went well, reach out to us during our and letting us know when the unit was ready for check-in. We could not have been happier with our stay and would highly recommend this unit to our friends and family!
