Great condo at fantastic location

This was a great condo and resort at a fantastic location. Easily walkable to restaurants, shopping, beaches and surf. BBQs worked great, and grounds were in pristine condition. Agree with the other reviewers about the small deck and the need to turn off all 3 AC units if you want to use it, otherwise you get a hot exhaust and can’t be at the deck. The beach chairs, toys and boogie board in the deck closet came in super handy. Wish there was an umbrella too. The one star dropped from the review is simply a reflection of the lightly stocked kitchen. There were no coffee filters, which meant an immediate trip to a nearby store. There were no spices or oil, just an almost empty salt and pepper shaker that barely had any left after our stay. No hot pads for handling hot dishes out of the oven, incomplete set of measuring cups/spoons, and no foil or small plastic containers for storing leftovers. For a family with small children wanting to cook meals, it felt really light. I would recommend going through the inventory and addressing some of the more basic needs.

Wonderful stay!!

Had an amazing stay at the Kamaole Sands. The Condo was excellent, great location. Beautiful view of the gardens the grounds are so well cared for. It was everything we needed. The beds were super confortable. Beach chairs were a plus. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful Stay at Kamaole Sands

The unit was just as described and as it appeared in the photos. Everything was clean and well maintained. A few more dishes would have been nice but other than that the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed using the BBQs that were very well maintained and cleaned daily. Meals were enjoyed on the lanai overlooking the beautiful garden. As mentioned in other reviews, turn the AC off when on the lanai or it gets too hot. Beds were very comfortable. The beach chairs were great for our daily visit to Kamaole III beach, just across the street. We spent one day volunteering and would encourage others to take part in the Malama Hawaii program. Dinner out at Cafe O’lei was delicious.

Wonderful stay for our family of 5

We were very happy with our stay. The unit was clean, fresh, and had all the comforts of home. It was truly a fully equipped condo (Thank you for stocking with tupperware and left over saran wrap and foil paper - it came in handy to wrap up fruit and sandwiches for our day! the Beach Chairs were also an amazing help!) Large and plenty of space. The Kamaole Sands is a great complex and i would stay here again. The pool was great and the many grills and picnic tables were nice to have. Beach across the street and sunset views. We swam with turtles one day. My only issue was i didn't utilize the lanai enough due to the heat from the air conditioning units that are in the closet. too bad those can't be placed elsewhere, but other than that, amazing views from the lanai to relax after a long day!

Lovely location

Fantastic place for a family vacation. Unit was spotless with the exception of the laundry machine which was quite dirty and needs a thorough clean. Location is fantastic!

A lovely stay!

We had a lovely stay! The condo was clean, spacious, comfortable and as expected from the pictures & description. The location was wonderful — close to a great beach (across the street) and many restaurants, stores, and cafes. There was a welcome basket filled with goodies (coffee, chocolate, chips, cards, etc). The grounds were well kept, had a pool and hot tubs that we enjoyed one night. Customer service was always prompt to reply to any questions or concerns I had. They were very accommodating when I requested late check out due to a rescheduling of one of our early morning excursions. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this unit to friends & family!

Quiet & Relaxing Resort for a Recharge

This location is great, close to beaches, walking distance to shops and restaurants etc. Very clean complex with great pool and BBQ's for use. Not too busy at all which was great, didn't have to fight for a chairs at the pool. We stayed on the top level which had a 2 bedroom with master in the loft which was quite nice. My only complaint about the place is the smaller deck. More importantly the AC units exhaust that blows heat on you all day/night long which makes the deck unbearable to sit on at anytime unfortunately.

Great Location

Condo is modern and comfortable with great amenities and easy beach access. The location is in walking distance to restaurants and stores and easy driving distances to locations throughout the island. 5 min walk to Kamaole Beach where it's not unusual to swim with sea turtles.

Maui vacation with family

Great place. Very well maintained. The only thing they can add to the property are some beach chairs, surfing boards and other stuff for the beach. Our friends rented in the same building and they had them in their condo. Overall very good stay. Strongly recommended

Beautiful condo-beautiful property-great location

This condo was beautiful. It was perfectly clean, beautifully decorated and had most everything we needed for our stay. Kamaole Sands property is beautiful! Perfect location in Kihei, 10-20 minute walk to restaurants and shopping and right across the street from Kam III beach. The only complaint was the beach equipment: there were 5 beach chairs and one was broken and one was a smaller child’s size. When I inquired about where I could get new ones, I was told that new chairs would be delivered to our unit within a day or two, but they never came. The boogie boards weren’t in great shape either, the styrofoam in both of them was broken and the tether on one was detached. That’s the only minor complaint about this place. I would definitely stay at this condo complex again and this unit too.

Amazing Stay!

Our stay here was fabulous! Our plane landed early and they were so accommodating that they had the unit ready. Throughout the stay, they were responsive and attentive. The unit was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Also, directly on the beach!! I will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful vacation home

Clean and spacious vacation home with air condition in both bedrooms and living room. Fully equipped kitchen to cook or enjoy takeouts. Tons of beach towels and chairs for guests. Great WiFi signal throughout this unit except the downstair bedroom which is the furthest from the WiFi access point.

Maui - Kamaole Sands unit 7-410

Had an awesome stay here at Kamaole Sands Maui. The location is super, less than half a block from the beach! Unit was really clean and nicely laid out. Top floor is great because those units have the big vaulted ceiling with upstairs loft bedroom. (open feel) Small thing to mention but the fitness center needs an update for sure. Not an issue for most folks though I'm sure. Great place overall & had a blast!

Wonderful!

The property was just as described. The management did an awesome job of answering any questions. We weren't able to get the DVD player to work, so Dan was sent over to help and gave us another unit that he was familiar with and we were able to watch movies.

The only complaint is the noisy a/c on the lenai. It was hard to talk over the loud noise.

Kamaole Sands 7-410 - amazing

Fabulous condo with everything we needed. Very clean and very quiet complex. Beds were comfortable with newer linens, bathrooms were immaculate. Didn't need to buy any detergent (laundry/kitchen) and about the only thing not in abundance was spices but that's no problem at all. FYI the unit does have a Keurig but it doesn't appear in the pictures.

Wonderful, relaxing trip in a fantastic location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands. Unit 7-410 was lovely and exactly as pictured. It has everything you need. The unit might need a little re-organization in the kitchen from so many people coming and going and a few, very minor, replacements of things that are showing wear (a few towels, some insulated cups, nothing that impacts your enjoyment). We had a minor issue with the A/C and CBI was quick to send someone to attend to it.
We had four adults and one 10 year old and enjoyed daily trips to boogie board at the beach. Beach chairs and boogie boards were there and we added some pool noodles and a styrofoam cooler to the exterior closet. Kamaole Sands is a very well maintained complex and very conveniently located. We enjoyed the Paia fish market restaurant and South Shore Tiki Lounge (good pizza) just down the street. The Cinnamon Roll shop tucked in the plaza a short stroll away is not to be missed if you have a sweet tooth. Overall an amazing stay, we hope to return!

Our Stay

The unit was clean and if we needed anything CBIP Vacations was quick to respond and very friendly. The only issue we had was that the AC was not cooling the place to a more comfortable temperature. It was cooler then outside, and if you didn't move it was fine 🙂 I would recommend that perhaps they get a more powerful air conditioner? Other then that it was perfect!

Kamaole Sands 7-410

We enjoyed the location with a quick walk across the road to a beautiful beach. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the air conditioner worked well.
On the downside, the room was not ready at the designated time as the cleaners were still cleaning. That meant the parking spot was also unavailable.
There was a maintenance man still inside working. Also, it was way too loud to sit on the lanai as the air conditioner was so loud. We had to turn if off to be able to sit outside.

Great unit!

Very nice unit with everything you need. Well organized and very comfortable. Partial view on the ocean, garden area and pool. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Right on the corner so quick access to the stairs and the BBQ area. Would stay there again in the future.

Beautiful condo

We stayed here for two weeks during spring break and we absolutely loved this condo. It’s newly renovated and beautiful. It was also VERY clean which was important to me. Location was great...right across Kam 3 beach. Great place to watch the sunset. Management company was very helpful when our toaster stopped working. Would definitely stay here again.
