Great location, stayed as a family of four

Check in process was seamless which was great after a long day of travel. Proximity to Kam 1 was perfect. Pool area and hot tub are excellent!Property was great, kitchen was stocked with what we required. New appliances. AC worked great in all rooms. Stayed here as 2 adults and 2 kids 3 and under. The unit was close to the only elevator which was super helpful with a stroller! Would prefer flooring throughout without carpets in the bedroom but that's the only drawback. There is some wear and tear to the walls etc, but nothing that impacts your stay. Would stay here again.

Great Place to Stay in Kihei

Property was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Loved having two bathrooms. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. Parking was convenient, the location of the condo was very close to the stairs/elevator. Instructions to enter the condo were super easy, and checking in/out was a breeze. The air conditioners and the fans in the rooms made our visit so comfortable. Wifi was fast and reliable. Walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Just a short walk to the beach for a morning swim. As mentioned in other reviews, there is some water damage on the wall and floor adjacent to the the master bedroom and some areas near the kitchen sink. But it did not detract from our enjoyment of the property. The interior of the condo looks just like the photos. I enjoyed sitting on the lanai, not much of a view since the condo is on the ground floor, but you have a nice grassy area and it is fairly private. I would love to stay again and I would highly recommend this property.

we were very happy with our experience at kihei ali'i kai c108. The unit was as described and the location could only have been better on the beach. it was close to a nice beach and a great place central to driving all around the island...which we did! Kitchen was well equipped. SO Happy all around!

Back to Maui

We have stayed in a number of condos at Kihei Alii Kai and this unit is one of the better ones we’ve rented. The location is perfect with easy access to the parking lot and elevator. The unit was very clean and spacious. Maui can get hot so having three independent air conditioners was perfect! I would have given a perfect five stars for the condo’s condition except for the flooring and wall at the entrance. I’m sure it’ll be addressed.

Crowing maui

Unit was very nice and clean. Except for the wakeup calls and the chickens at the patio door every morning but we did not feed them no matter how cute the little chicks were. We were not able to sit out on the lanai to enjoy coffee.

Nice vacation getaway

Nice Condo. Comfortable furniture and decorated nicely Kitchen fully stocked with all gadgets needed. Parking was not right next to the condo so I would suggest providing wagons or some type of equipment to move the groceries and the luggage from the parking lot to the particular unit. Lots of chairs and other beach items available for free to use. the wall by the dining room table looks like it had water damage and is bubbled the floor outside of the master bedroom. Also needs a little work. Other than that it was a fantastic place to stay. We love seeing the roosters every morning and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was also in a great location.

Two weeks in Kihei

We love staying at the Kihei Ali'i Kai. The overall set up and location is hard to beat. I would say that for a two bedroom unit it ought to come with 2 pool keys and not just 1. That would have made life a lot easier for us 4 adults. I do think that the general rental rate for all of these condos in Maui has been pushed a bit high and is going to force people like me to look elsewhere next time.

Great Spot to Stay!

My two friends and I came and stayed here for a long weekend and it was our first time in Hawaii! Location - we thought it was a great location! It's a 2 minute walk to coffee shops and the beach. Also, a 20 minute walk to the Triangle area which had another pretty beach, restaurants/bars and more coffee shops!

Amenities - It had tons of space, an outdoor patio to enjoy your morning coffee, all essentials plus in-unit laundry!

It also has parking and the check in was super easy. I definitely recommend staying here 🙂

Home away from home

We loved the apartment. Everything was up to order, all the amenities were as described and supported our stay. The location was ideal for family vacation, walking distance to the beach parks, lots of shopping and food options. Very convenient to drive to other locations - we visited Road to Hana, Haleakalā and Lahaina (a bit of drive in traffic but very scenic).
A couple of suggestions:
- Please add a bit of detail as to the location of the unit to the directions. We arrived after dark so it was hard to find the unit after a long journey and two tired kids.
- Right hand sink in the master bath was not draining (drain cover not staying out)
- No A/C in second bedroom, it was toasty without the A/C
All in all, excellent stay and definitely recommend it.

Vacation in Paradise

We loved our stay in the vacation rental. It was perfect for our needs. Was very clean. Looked like it had been newly remodeled. The location could not have been better. One block from the beach. We walked to every restaurant we ate at. Made daily use of sauna and hot tub. Had only one suggestion we needed a sponge or dishrag for cleaning countertops. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall Nice Property

I stayed in the property for 8 nights. It is newly renovated. Location is very good. Please note that it is situated at the top of a small hill. This could get old quick for those with small kids, physical issues, etc. The condo itself is at the farthest point on the property away from the ocean as well.

The air conditioning works fine, although it is very noisy. Please note that the second bedroom does NOT have a/c, just the living room and master bedroom. The second bedroom seemed okay temperature-wise. Luckily it has a ceiling fan.

The sliding patio doors are heavy and do not lock easily. Be careful to ensure that those doors are in fact locked when you leave. The front door works very well and has a convenient key pad for entry.

Appliances are new and work well. The microwave is huge and doubles as an oven. This property is lacking any type of large knives. Good luck trying to cut into a pineapple! They do have knife sharpeners though, just no knives other than butter and steak knives to use them on!

The master bed is nothing impressive. Seemed small, probably a queen. The mattress felt pretty lumpy. I, personally, did not find it comfortable. I found, however, the couch to be super comfortable!

This was a last minute booking. Normally I like to stay oceanfront, but everything was booked up. I would possibly consider this building again and perhaps this unit again.

Sweet location and condo

We loved our stay here. The ground floor condo was private, cool in temperature during the hottest days with a great cross breeze-even without the AC. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy, the beach "toys" for children and adults were much appreciated. The walk to the beach was pleasant and short, Maui Gelato was deadly good either on the way there or back too!
