Maalaea Banyan 416 offers stunning ocean views and is a real charmer, making for the perfect Hawaiian retreat. You can enjoy your morning coffee while watching a whale breach, especially during the season, or turtles almost nightly right from your private lanai.

Ma'alaea Banyans is located in the peaceful village of Ma'alaea and is conveniently situated just 20 minutes from the airport, Kahului, Lahaina, Kihei, and more! However, you don't have to travel far to find fun shops and great restaurants. Ma'alaea Harbor is a five-minute walk around the corner and is the best place to book a snorkel tour to Molokini and Turtle Town, a sunset cruise, or a whale-watching trip! At Ma'alaea Harbor, you can also find shops, restaurants, and the Maui Aquarium. Additionally, close by, you'll find the Maui Golf & Sports Park with mini golf, bumper boats, X-treme trampoline, and rock climbing. The King Kamehameha Golf Resort is a short drive away, as is the Maui Tropical Plantation.

The complex features an oceanfront pool and is the only place in Ma'alaea with a hot tub! You have gated beach access, or you can take a short five-minute walk to Haycraft Park, where you can stroll along Sugar Beach for five miles. Sugar Beach is known for its soft white sand and is one of the best beaches on Maui. If you're lucky to visit during a strong South Swell, you can watch surfers flocking to the World Famous Ma'alaea Pipeline! You can grab a chair and head down to the beach to take it all in or enjoy the view from the comfort of your private lanai.

This 2-bedroom/2-bath condo is located on the top floor and has been tastefully updated. The living room features a cozy sofa, a flat-screen TV, and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that open to the lanai for indoor/outdoor living. You can enjoy dining while taking in the unparalleled views with seating for two. The kitchen is fully stocked for the chef of your family! Located on the first floor is the guest bedroom with two twin beds that can be converted to a king upon request, split AC, a flat-screen TV, and a ceiling fan. The guest bathroom is located off the hallway and has been nicely updated. The primary bedroom is located upstairs with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom that features a double sink vanity and shower. There is a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience. This condo is perfect for couples and small families!

While the property strives to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or decor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

A Great Place to Stay

We loved our stay here! Besides the amazing view, our very favorite part was going down to the beach area (through the gate) at sunset to watch the turtles come to shore to rest/sleep. We counted 15 one night. What a wonderful surprise!!! The unit was nicely updated and very clean. We enjoyed the beach at the end of the road several times during our stay. We appreciated the beach towels, the 4 beach chairs, the cooler (and cold paks in the freezer for the cooler). Here are a couple things we give a thumbs down to: First, the air condition unit on the lanai gave off a LOT of heat so we weren't able to enjoy it much as it was way too hot to sit out there. Second, it would've been helpful if there were a few more supplies in the unit such as saran wrap/foil, oil for cooking, chip clips and a wine stopper. Oh, and it would've been nice if there was more seating, perhaps another comfy chair. These things would not stop us from coming back but thought we'd suggest it for future visitors. We already miss Maui. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this wonderful unit.

Beautiful Maui Condo

This condo is absolutely beautiful! It is charming, full of thoughtful touches, and the perfect size for our family of 4. We loved hanging out on the balcony where we saw sea turtles everyday, a rainbow, and even a shooting star. The central location is great and was the perfect place to come rest after a day of adventuring. I would love to stay again sometime!

Peace and Beauty for a much needed respite

Our family was given the gift a quiet and BEAUTIFUL getaway at 416! We LOVED the view...God's creation on display in array of colors, scents, and sounds. The grounds were very well maintained and Buzz was that his name? What a honey pie! Lots of great ideas of things to do.

Maui Paradise at Maalaea Banyans!

Our stay on Maui was such a delight, made only better by our stay in this condo. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and just the right size. There were no overwhelming crowds, just the beauty of Maui. We loved staying in Maalaea. It was so conveniently located to many attractions. We visited the Kihei beaches, Road to Hana, Haleakala, Iao Valley, Lahaina, the Nakalele Blowhole, and the Feast at Lele. Each one was in a reasonable driving distance. We also enjoyed breakfast at the Maalaea General Store, within walking distance of the condo. Our snorkeling adventure also left from Maalaea harbor, so we were able to walk there as well. Make sure to try the Banana Macadamia Nut ice cream at Hula Cookies (walking distance!). Now, for the best part, the condo offers glorious views - with MANY sea turtles daily. In addition, we saw beached sea turtles on three occasions during our 10-day stay. Our last night there were 5 on the beach! It was a spiritual experience! Loved everything about our trip! Thank you!

The condo was beautiful, they have taken advantage of every inch of space. Great location, plenty of whales and the weather was perfect. Complex may still be in the "Covid" era; didn't see management but everything was kept clean and fresh outside.

Fantastic View

This condo was a perfect choice for our first time in Maui. The view couldn't be better to sit out on the lanai and watch the whales. The condo had everything needed for a comfortable stay and it was walking distance from all the action. Highly recommend.

Maalaea Banyons 416

We arrived very late at night- the corridors and entryways were dark which was off putting. Once inside the unit we felt safe and secure. There were so many positives with the accommodations, the condominium staff and the management company. Our unit was freshly remodeled top top to bottom. The sound of the waves on the shore at night from both the back bedroom and the upper loft bedroom was lovely. All kitchen items were provided including a welcome basket, extra garbage bags for daily trash removal, pots and pans and even some coffee! There were binoculars provided so we could watch whales in the harbor daily. The beds and bedding were comfortable (2 twins on main floor that we pushed together for a king) and one queen in the loft with a separate bath/shower/closet and washer/dryer. The place had everything we needed to hunker down and unwind and chill. We found a food truck court (Abikis grill was great) and grocery store a quick 12 min drive away in Kihei and the unit is close to the airport. Traffic is light. If no car, the marina is a quick walk for ocean excursions and there is a deli at the end of the street. There is also a Carl Jrs in the gas station a short walk away for burgers. One recommendation is to drive to Kihei beach for sunsets ��. The sunset from the unit is behind an adjacent unit. I would highly recommend this vacation stay if you don’t expect a full on resort setting. The building is older but we’ll maintained. Mahalo!
