Fabulous Kihei Condo

My husband and our two daughters (18 & 20) had an amazing 12 day vacation in Kihei. The condo was exactly as advertised (although the fridge doesn’t make ice … we made ice in ice cube trays, and you had to rent tennis and pickle ball rackets for $10 /hour for each racket. However … The location is perfect, and the condo is great! Charley Young Beach is across the street, and fabulous restaurants are a short walk away. We explored the island and spent many days at the beach. We always watched the beautiful sunsets from our “lanai”. The only thing we wished it had was a binder with helpful tips for the area … So … Here are our tips!! The “Triangle” is the place to go for dinner. Turn right out of Maui Vista and walk about 5 minutes. Turn right at the Surf Shop. Walk about 1 minute. On the left is an opening to a pedestrian only area. At night, there are cute white lights … There are lots of food trucks and picnic tables for dinner. It’s really quite magical. The Surf Shop at the corner is amazing if you want to take surf lessons. Make sure you book in advance. (The earlier lessons are better because of the waves and the number of number of beginner surfers in the ocean.) Makena Beach is known for its afternoon clouds, and you have to pay to park. ($10/car + $5/person) It’s a beautiful beach, but I am not sure we would do that again knowing what we know now. Overall, we had an amazing vacation, and we would not hesitate to recommend this condo. Mahalo for a wonderful Hawaiian holiday!

Great place and location!

We loved our stay at this condo! It is extremely comfortable and spacious. It's a short walk from an awesome beach (Charley Young) and ABC Stores. Another block further is a great shopping complex with It's a Wrap, the best reasonably-priced store next to it, Maui Bread Co, ice cream, and FOUR places to rent snorkeling and beach supplies, plus more shopping. The kids (6 and 8) LOVED the pool, which is right at the bottom, and the dryer was great for drying the swimsuits. It is quiet with the ceiling fans keeping things cool. The beach chairs are super helpful. Check in and out was very smooth. There's a full kitchen and two bathrooms, which is wonderful for a longer stay.The bed was comfortable and the check out instructions were very reasonable, not onerous.

“Straight Out of San Diego” Crew

The look and feel of the interior was classic Hawaiian. Very comfortable and clean. Great ocean view from the balcony off the living room. It’s was nice that they had a little greet package of snacks, water & coffee when we first walked in. Quite and relaxing the whole stay. Amenities like washer & dryer, refrigerator, microwave, etc. in the unit came in handy. An area of bars called “The Bermuda Triangle” was only a block away for some fun times. Beach was close as well. Kihei is a better location. Not super hot like Lahaina. Not as rural as Hana side. All pros except one con was the AC system was portable not built-in or central but the ceiling fans made it pleasant.

Maui trip 2022

We had a very nice stay in a very quiet condominium apartment. It was nice and clean and had many beach extras. Check in and out were a breeze.

Bring me back to Maui!

This condo had better views than I thought it would. The artwork and decor throughout the condo gives one a sense of Hawaiian culture in a non-cheesy way. The owner provided a lot of extras that made our stay more enjoyable, such as beach chairs, coffee & tea, kitchenware, iron, etc. The pool key works for all three pools so one can choose whichever pool is empty. This place added to our Maui experience and we would definitely recommend it! Lots of great books too!

Super Condo, great south Kihei location!!
