Palms at Wailea 1002

We couldn't have been happier with our stay, the home, the location...all beautiful & perfection! Thank you, Jenn, Mike & Hayden, for sharing your home with our family! Best family vacation to date. Your photos didn't do the view justice. We were SO pleasantly surprised to see that the ocean was so easily seen from the kitchen stools & living room seats. The picture window and window seats are just unreal, such a pretty view!! I usually read every review before booking an Airbnb because people will misrepresent their space or have bugs or smells or something that photos can't show, so I was extra nervous booking a place that had zero reviews at that time, but SO happy we took a leap of faith and booked with you. Everything was thoroughly stocked with practically any item a family might want or need. So impressive. I can not stress this enough. I appreciate every possible need being anticipated from the First Aid kit to the vaccuum, supplies, the beach chairs & towels were invaluable!

House was kept well, pool was a short walk. Beach was 20 min walk or a 5 min drive . Mall and restaurants were also a short drive. Lineage bar at the shops of wailea had the best lobster noodles. Island gourmet market had a great selection of food as well. Definitely recommend this Airbnb if you want to stay in wailea. Also recommend getting Lappert’s ice cream at the shops of wailea, their Ice cream flavors ?.

This condo was truly beautiful and spacious. I loved that I could see the ocean from the livingroom and lanai. The lanai was big enough to have one chase, table for four, and two bar chairs in front of a counter off the kitchen window that opened. That's where we spent most of our time. The area at the Palms is about a 15 minute walk to the ocean, but you have to bring your own chairs, etc, so depending on the ages of your party, you may need to drive to the beach, which was the case for my older sister. The area around the Palms is quiet, easy to get around, and many beaches close. The condo included just about everything you would need in the kitchen, and also includes spices & oils. There were a lot of small ants, but my understanding that this is just the way it is in the tropicals. We did our best to continue clean counters, not leaving trash or crumbs open. We put everything in the fridge or sealed bags. We just kinda got used to it. The beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows and linens. The condo also had beach chairs and towels. I wish it also came with a beach umbrella for shade. As well if there was another tv in the second bedroom. The livingroom tv was outstanding though, and could stream everything we wanted to. The Condo manager took care of any issues we had while here. I was very happy with our time at the Palms and will be back.

Location is everything, and this condo doesn't disappoint. It's close to Wailea's pristine beaches (walkable to Keawakapu but we drove to several area beaches), world-class golf courses (love Wailea Emerald), and premier shopping, as well as the convenience of Kihei. Within the complex, it is a quiet corner unit and away from the road. We loved the ocean view and the spaciousness of the unit. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed to cook some meals at home. BBQ grills are located throughout the complex (no longer allowed on lanai at condo) but we understand it is a fire issue and impacts all condos. A nice bonus it seems most of the stuff is new. We have stayed at several units at Palms but this is our favorite. We will definitely be back!
