Great place, views, location

Lots to love about the unit. Great views, comfy furniture. There were 4 beach chairs and a soft cooler great for the beach. We rented umbrellas easy enough.
Location is super nice. 2 min walk to Akamai Coffee and Tikehua Lounge
The TVs only had a cable box and no apps or streaming capabilities so bring your own Apple TV or similar if you plan to stream your Netflix, etc.

What a treat! We really enjoyed staying here for our week in Wailea. If you don't want to read the details just know the view is better than the photos and we will return! A little background on us, we are regular visitors to the island both West and South. (were middle aged)PROS: -The views are grand! You see the ocean from every room. Even washing dishes has the best view ever.-2 full bathrooms is a nice bonus for a one bedroom. They were remodeled and spacious.-Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, beach chairs for 2, overall we lacked nothing.-Being on the second floor means you won't have to hear foot stomps all the time. 😉 -The cute shops, restaurants and golf in walking distance.-3 minute drive to my fav beach, Keawakapu.-Good communication with CB.-Decore is fun, bright and a little hipper than most Wailea condos. 😉 CONS:-no full length mirror as mentioned in other reviews. (easy fix imo)-the trash truck will likely wake you up one morning a week as a previous review mentioned. (not a big deal to us)-the mattress wasn't the best. not the worst but I hope there is a new one or a topper by the time we visit again.-the description at my time of booking said they get discounts for golf but when I asked for it they said they do not. -pool is small and underwhelming. I don't go to Maui for a pool so that was fine by me. But if you're looking for a fancy pool you won't find it here.

Perfect!

What more can one ask for!? Great spot, minutes from the shops and numerous beaches. Condo was perfect. Everything in working order and my wife loved that everything in the kitchen was labeled. Had to call property management a couple of times when we were locked out and they provided timely service with solution intact.

Great Wailea Location
Had a great stay at this condo. Excellent location walking distance to shops, restaurants, hotels and very close to beaches. Lovely complex and a nice large lanai with an ocean view. Nicely decorated and spacious for a couple.

Great Unit and Location

We have been to Wailea many times and would definitely return to this unit. It is within walking proximity to anything one could need, was incredibly clean, and a nice home base for the week we were there. The property management company was a breeze to deal with. At past locations, we've dealt directly with the owner so we were a bit worried, but the response time was within five minutes and the workers were friendly.

Great view
After having another owner the atmosphere is not as good as it used to be. No grill anymore. And equipement getting less in kitchen.
But still great location, clean and great bathrooms and bedroom.
Unfortunately had some bugs in the living room in the morning even a lot of traps in the unit.
All in all still one of our favourites on Maui.

We had a wonderful time staying in Wailea, this was our first time staying on this side, and we found it really nice and will be coming back. There is plenty to do with shopping a lot of beaches and nice restaurants. The drive to the other side is not far, and there is also nice coffee, shops and markets for shopping for groceries. The views at the unit are amazing. We enjoyed swimming at the pool and sipping some cold beverages on the lanai.

Favorite rental in Maui

5 stars across the board. The view is exquisite—the photos don’t do justice to the real thing. My husband and I stayed here for 9 days and truly couldn’t have been more pleased. This place really has everything you need, and then some! I would actually plan my next trip to Maui around this rental’s availability lol it was that good. Lanai and Wailea heaven

Great condo with 2 full bathrooms but only one bedroom. It was advertised for 4, but can’t imagine that. However, the location was great for our purposes.....coffee shop right below, manolis pizza close by, the shops at Wailea easily walkable, and best of all, the beach path to resorts. The view from the condo gave us sunsets and daytime views. We were totally happy with this nicely renovated and well appointed condo. We (and our drivers ) had some trouble finding it initially, but it was worth the search. Completely recommended!

Wailea Ekolu 208
Had a great stay in 208 - very well equipped unit c/w beach chairs, cooler, etc. Clean, good layout, professional and responsive staff from CB Island Vacations. The view from the balcony was the parking lot of a shopping centre, however, we knew this going in. The propane BBQ's on site were not yet in place so had to rely on charcoal grills - the stovetop was then responsible for cooking steaks....not ideal.
Would highly recommend this suite and quiet property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our April 2021 eight-day stay at Ekolu 208. The unit was very clean, well-maintained and well appointed. Of special note: the units owners have selected some terrific artwork for the condo. Also, the team at CB Vacations were very professional and courteous.

Amazing place with great location and views
This place really exceeded our expectations! The condo is recently renovated, is very spacious, has a great interior and is sparkling clean. The place is equipped with high quality furniture and amenities and is very tastefully decorated (all the artwork was so beautiful). The terrace is really large and offers perfect views of the ocean and sunsets and sunrises.
The location was very good, quiet, safe and clean. it takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to the nearest beach or 3 min driving. And there are plenty of other great beaches within 10-20 min drive.
There were also plenty of great dining options in the Wailea and Kihei area.
Overall, we had an amazing stay at this property and we are really thankful to the owners!

Fantastic condo in a great location!

The entirety of our experience renting Ekolu 208 was smooth and delightful. The team that runs the rentals was easy to work with (they were even able to accommodate a last minute extension of our stay) and the condo itself is magnificent. For those looking for a quick overview, the most important features of this condo are its exceptional location in Wailea and remarkable comfort/luxury at a great price. The condo has one bedroom but two beautifully luxurious bathrooms (and a very nice sleeper sofa in the spacious living room to accommodate up to 4 guests). It is also equipped with a nice, high functioning kitchen, and a great grill that can be found on the second story deck with views of breaching whales in the distance and wild parrots in the trees below. Importantly, the condo's temperature is easy to regulate to your liking. I HIGHLY recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in the quieter town of Wailea.
For those who are interested in details, the kitchen is equipped with the right tools to actually cook in it (sharp knives, clean cutting boards, well labeled cabinets and drawers, etc) and it is apparent that the owners care about the kitchen experience. At least the master bath (we didn't use the other bathroom but it looked equally nice when we poked our heads in) has an exceptionally luxurious rain shower head that feels wonderful after a day in the salt water. The towels and linens are very nice and both beach and shower towels are provided. The artwork on the walls is impressive and the general interior decorations are very nice. Everything about the condo is functional, comfortable, and luxurious. Even the wifi works amazingly well. The condo is an easy walk down to many of the high-end hotels that can be found along the beach in Wailea and an evening stroll along the water while stopping for a drink at any of the hotel bars is quite pleasant. I've reached the 2,000 character limit or else I would share more about how wonderful Ekolu

Everything about this Condo is Fabulous

We loved everything about this condo. The owners have great taste and spared no expense. Small details really separate this place from the rest. It feels very high-end. The furniture, décor, and artwork is beautiful. Nice cookware, knives, stove, oven, grill, make it easy to enjoy all your meals right here. They even left ground coffee and espresso beans for their guests.The view from the lanai is spectacular. We ate breakfast and lunch out there nearly every day and enjoyed the panoramic views of the ocean, other islands, and all the snorkeling boats headed over to Molokini every morning! The lanai is also a great place to watch the sunset before taking a short walk to enjoy one of the many amazing restaurants in the area.While planning our trip, we spent lots of time looking at condos right on the beach before booking this one. We made the right choice because this condo was the best of both worlds. It is a lot nicer than similarly-priced beachfront condos, the views at this place are far better, it is much quieter than the resort areas, it is right on the golf course, and all of those beautiful beaches are just a short walk down the hill.

Mai tais on the lanai - yes, please

This is a wonderful condo. Very spacious with a great layout, nice kitchen and the view from the lanai is fantastic. You can easily walk to the beach, shopping and some restaurants yet is tis still quiet. There is construction in front of the condo so there is some noise during the weekdays but we did not mind.
