My husband and I stayed here for a week to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. As soon as we stepped into the unit, we felt instantly welcomed by an unexpected gift basket containing Maui snacks from the owners. The furnishings were impeccably clean and well-kept, and the wood ceiling and floors made the place feel homey and inviting. The kitchen appliances were new and all in working order. Similarly, the pots/pans, cooking utensils, and dinnerware were all in good shape which is not always the case in rentals. This made it very pleasant to cook meals when we decided to eat in. The view from the lanai is incredible and it is so pleasant to sit outside with the breeze and enjoy the sunset with a drink in hand. We were incredibly impressed by the unit and would definitely stay here again.

We have just finished a 24 day stay and it was fantastic. We enjoyed this condo so much. Sitting on the lanai in the mornings and watching the sunsets in the evenings will be especially memorable. The attention to detail was superb. It was absolutely spotless which meant a lot to us.

We arrived Saturday Oct 10, 2015 and by the 12th reserved another 9 days in Dec 2016. It's hard to imagine paying more to stay at the Grand Wailea Hotel when I am looking right over it from unit 904 at Ekolu Village. Privacy, upgraded... 904 doesn't disappoint....

We were pleasantly surprised about the whole package! Very clean, well appointed, most comfy king bed, amazing views, quiet, awesome stargazing at night, completely private! We've stayed in hotels typically, but with this home, you receive the benefits of quietude, no hotel business, cook or not at your leisure and short distance to many wonderful beaches!

Awesome views!

The unit was just as described. The view was perfect! The unit was clean and inviting. We stayed for 10 days and found it sad to leave because we celebrated our honeymoon there. Unit 904 will always have a special place in our memory. 🙂

Wonderful Wailea Condo

Spent 7 days enjoying the many beaches of Wailea and returning home to enjoy fire-orange sunsets from our comfortable balcony. Great location, unobstructed views, and comfortable accommodation.

We have stayed at several units in this complex. This one is top shelf - backing on green space, nicely updated, well-equipped kitchen and stunning views. Management was the best I've experienced. Super-responsive and genuinely committed to making sure our stay was great.

Nice condo, Nice view
The upstairs condo itself was clean, good layout, air cond worked, nice view of Molokini, appliances worked, had beach towels, beach chairs. We landed 11am and wanted to check-in before regular 4pm check-in so we can go to Costco, so called CBIP. They said condo had not been inspected yet, so after they inspected they will call or text. Never recd either. Complex info said that there were 4 BBQs, however, none were on the complex map. Texted CBIP - they said BBQs are near pools. Not true, BBQ was several hundred feet away near golf course 15th green. Weber BBQ worked good. CBIP staff responds quickly but wish their knowledge of facility was better.

She had communicated with your party directly which is why you never received the call or text. We are in the process of creating property maps internally to help isolate more in-depth details such as grills, and best paths to get to or from them. We are hoping to get this going the start of the year.

We very much enjoyed our stay!! The unit was very clean. Well equipped with lawn chairs, cooler, beach towels. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the views from our patio balcony. We plan on returning to this cozy delightful unit! We miss it already.....

Our overall experience was excellent, as evidenced by our length of stay each year. However, we are reluctant to provide a review because the last time that we did we had indicated some minor repairs that were needed. CB Vacations elected to delete these comments from the published review, which somewhat undermines the purpose of an independent assessment.

Serenity and elegance

This impeccably decorated and furnished condo is spacious and welcoming from the ocean view deck to the superbly appointed kitchen and living areas. We appreciated being able to walk to a myriad of restaurants, shops and the short drive to nearby beaches and is VERY quiet and the landscaping is lush and manicured. We did have an issue with the TV and were able to have someone come over within minutes.The beach chairs were helpful. I would suggest for every owner on the islands to provide a cooler and umbrella as well as beach chairs.They could be included in the security deposit. This would protect the environment by not having a ton of styrofoam coolers left to dispose of, an would prevent a lot of sunburned guests.
I would absolutely stay in this delightful oasis again.

Review of Wailea Ekolu Condo 904

Our experience at this condo was extraordinary! We really enjoyed the location close to the best beaches, shops and restaurants. For a one bedroom the condo was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. Loved the decor, kitchen and especially the lanai. We would definitely stay here again. The reservations, arrival info and exit were very smooth. Best place we have ever stayed in Maui and we previously owned a condo in Wailea Palms. Looking to purchase another hopefully in Ekolu.

We've been in Wailea Ekolu several times and unit 904 is the best by far. Furnishing, appliances, air conditioner - all were first class! Welcome gift was heart warming and yummy. We received call from Customer Service with all explanations. Overall our experience was excellent.

Wailea Panorama!
Great booking, check in and quick support with a small issue. Condo Mgmt team is very local and pleasant to deal with.
Condo is top floor, quiet with all you need to be self sufficient....not to mention the large lanai and never ending ocean view...from Molokini on your left all the way to Lanai on your right. 2 swimming pools are great...cool and deep 8 ft. Best compliment...we’re returning to the same unit next year!

Back Again to the SAME unit we love!
Ekolu 904 is it for us! We've stayed on the Ekolu property three times now and the upstairs unit with the zillion $ view is just perfect. The lanai is private and has both chaise lounges and a table and chairs. It's quiet most of the time except for the chirping birds waking us up each morning which we LOVE and the maintenance mowers at 5:30 working outside which we DON'T LOVE! Why do they have to wake everyone up so early????
We contacted the management upon arrival to notify them that there was no portable umbrella (a must for beach use) and no lunch/picnic tote (also a must). We expected receiving them but during our two week stay, no one delivered them. Sad face. Many reviews spoke of both of those items.....where were they? If items get lost, stolen or broken, the owner/management should replace them promptly.
The kitchen was well equipped however, the knives in the knife block are so dangerously dull that I was fearful of using them. THEY MUST BE REPLACED ASAP. It's an accident waiting to happen.
We hope to stay in 904 again as the bed is so comfortable and the towels are plentiful. The sofa in the living room is very old and the cushions are painfully saggy. My back ached sitting on it. It needs to be replaced.
We contacted the management upon arrival to notify them that there was no portable umbrella (a must for beach use) and no lunch/picnic tote (also a must). We expected receiving them but during our two week stay, no one delivered them. Sad face. Many reviews spoke of both of those items.....where were they? Condo Overlooking ll of Wailea

Great relaxing stay in very nice condo with super view.
Condo was in good condition with good appliances and furniture.
If you want to walk places, this is not so good as sidewalks are not continuous down tot the resorts and restaurants, so at night a car is needed to feel safe from traffic.

Perfect Wailea Condo

My husband and I loved everything about this condo. First and foremost, the view is incredible from the balcony. We spent multiple nights watching the sunset from here rather than going out because it was so relaxing and quiet. The condo is as nice as it looks in the pictures and extremely clean. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next Maui vacation.

Heavenly Stay in Ekolu 904!

We were fortunate that the weather was glorious all 13 days of our stay (not one drop of rain!) which was wonderful. We loved our condo so much as it was quiet, clean and had everything we needed.
I broke my right foot halfway thru the trip so the stairs became very difficult. We were surprised that most mornings the golf course maintenance people made so much noise mowing at 5 AM!!! Other than that, it was so quiet and only the lovely birds were chirping happily.

Heavenly Stay in Ekolu 904!

We spent a week in this condo. The views are spectacular and the condo is well appointed. We cooked a few meals in and it was nice to have sharp knives and all of the pots and utensils we needed. The electric grill wasn't working (we later found out it was a tripped GFI that we had not been able to locate), but using the public gas grill was easy. I was not thrilled with the coffee pot in the unit, but when I mentioned that to the manager, that same day there was a new Cuisinart delivered! Awesome service. We drove to the beach every night for sunset, only 2 minutes, but we could easily have enjoyed them from the balcony of the unit. Note for future guests, the small flat screens in the photos have been upgraded to much larger ones and we really appreciated that. Overall it was a great stay!

Ekolu 904 is a vacationer's dream. The unit has everything you think you will need. The king size bed is so comfortable, I wanted to take it home! The views from the deck are breath taking morning and night.

Great Rental at Wailea

This condo had a great ocean view. It was very clean and well stocked for kitchen supplies and beach items (which we did not use). Bed was very comfortable. 2 bathrooms were a plus also. Condo was extremely clean and well furnished. Pool was nice. Unit was well located for walking or driving to nearby Wailea restaurants.

This condo was perfect in every way. The location was ideal with an unbelievable view, a peaceful quiet setting, and it was still less than a 5 minute drive from beaches, dining, and shopping . The interior was clean and modern. We loved the Wailea area for its classy upscale feel but also loved the short drive into the “action” in Kihei. I can’t imagine finding a better place to stay. All of our communications were handled promptly and professionally as well. I hope to return!

we loved our stay at Ekolu 904. We had a little trouble figuring out how to get into the unit the first night because there is a key box outside and we did not know there was a key entry on the actual door...once that was figured out.....everything was great!

There is a rather small electric BBQ on the lanai (likely company policy). Every other lanai in the place had one or two gas or charcoal BBQs. The village (large) has only one distant communal BBQ and otherwise you are walking to an adjustable iron grill seen perhaps in public parks. I missed the fun and convenience.
Mark at the rental company was the best before we came, after we arrived and especially when we had a mix up in our booking. High marks!

My wife and I enjoyed the first leg of our Hawaiian babymoon at Ekolu 904 for 6 nights. We woke up in the AM to a full super moon over the bay. What a great lanai (porch) for relaxing and enjoying the views. The condo had everything we needed and more. We normally spent the days at the beach or exploring Maui. The condo is just up the hill from all of the larger resorts and located in a very peaceful community overlooking the golf course and the bay. We couldn't believe all of the whale activity in the bay. Bring some binoculars! We will definitely return to 904.

Absolutely Fabulous!

We had an amazing time staying in 904. We saw humpback whales every day from the lanai. We were able to walk to the shops, beaches and local happy hours easily. It is the perfect location. We had a slight hiccup with the internet (it didn't work while we were there). But the management company worked with us and the cable company to get a replacement modem. One other item, which I hope they fixed...this property was listed with a hot tub. Upon arrival, we realized it does NOT have a hot tub. It does have two non-heated pools, which is very refreshing after a day at the beach.
I would hands down stay here again. Really amazing.

A peaceful getaway with a view

Ekolu 904 was all we anted from our stay in Wailea and more. It's within walking distance from the outdoor mall, Shops at Wailea and Gateway Place, home of Merriman's Monkeypod Kitchen.
The unit itself was very clean and tidy, with a great kitchen space and views for days from the deck. It was also very quiet. We didn't hear a peep from any of the neighboring suites.
A quick drive of less than 10 minutes puts you on Big Beach at Makena (with handy beach chairs and umbrellas supplied by the rental unit).
Parking was a breeze at Ekolu. It's first-come-first-served, but there was always space, even for our massive rental vehicle.
I would highly recommend a stay at Ekolu 904.
